Viktor Orban’s patriotic Fidesz party becomes even more popular in Hungary

According to a recent poll by the government-friendly Nezopont Institute, support for the ruling Fidesz-KDNP alliance has further increased since the parliamentary elections in April. One of the opposition parties wouldn’t make it to the parliament.
Fidesz/KDNP’s popularity has reached 54 % among decided voters this month, which is 2 % more than last months, so compared to its 2.600.000 votes in April, Fidesz could have gained 400.000 more votes.
The strongest opposition party Jobbik has 19% among decided voters. The MSZP-Dialogue alliance has 9%, which means that they couldn’t enter the parliament as the threshold for two-party groups is 10%.
Green LMP has 6%, left-liberal DK 5%. The young liberal Momentum party with its 4% and the satirical Two-tailed Dog Party with its 2% still wouldn’t reach the threshold.
Among all voters, Fidesz/KNDP has 42%, Jobbik 11%, MSZP-Dialogue 6%, LMP 3%, DK 3%, Momentum 2% and the Two-tailed Dog Party 1%. 32% of the people didn’t disclose their preference.
