Why are 50% of the Bay area billionaires building underground bunkers? What do they know that we don’t?
Underground bunkers are a common part of the Continuity of Government program which allow the upper echelon to move to positions of safety in anticipation of a crisis, while the “working stiffs” are left to fend for themselves.
The most famous of these deep underground bunkers is near Colorado Springs at Cheyenne Mountain facility. This is the eyes and ears of our defense. The facillity has been portrayed in many TV shows and movies, the most famous was the popular 10-year series Stargate SG-1.
The creation of these underground structure is both a federal and a private set of endeavors. It would appear that the government and the elite knows that something bad is coming and they are trying to get out of harm’s way.
The Cheyenne Mountain Complex In Colorado Springs, CO.
This former NORAD command is still active. The Cheyenne Mountain facility is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The Cheyenne Mountain Complex is a large military base and also serves as a sheleter against a nuclear attack. It features sophisticated oxygen systems to prevent the penetration of radiation which could contamiate air and water supplies.
The complex was constructed under 760 meters of solid granite and contains numerous buildings secured by 25-ton blast doors. This design was accompanied by an abundance of flexible springs, which allows the buildings to shift without collapsing.
This facility was created at the height of the Cold War. It is designed to survive anything. It’s existence is understandable and probably required under the Continuity of Government programs. However, what is not comprehensible are the number of elite who are contructing a poor man’s version of Cheyenne Mountain.

Many of the world’s elite, including hedge fund managers, sports stars and tech executives (Bill Gates is rumored to have bunkers at all his properties) have chosen to design their own secret shelters to house their families and staff.
Gary Lynch, general manager of Texas-based Rising S Company, says 2016 sales for their custom high-end underground bunkers grew 700% compared to 2015, while overall sales have grown 300% since the November US presidential election alone
