BREAKING: C130 Hercules military plane CRASHES in US – emergency services rush to scene
A MILITARY transport plane has crashed close to a busy highway near Savannah, Georgia.

Pictures from the scene show thick black smoke billowing from the flaming wreckage, which came to a stop inches from the road.
Witnesses told US media they saw the aircraft plummet to the ground at around noon local time (5pm BST).
Emergency services are on the scene, though the fate of those on board is not yet known.
Motorists have been asked to avoid the area around Highway 21 and Gulfstream Road.
The Savannah Professional Firefighters Association said the plane was a C-130 Hercules belonging to the Air National Guard.
The C-130 is a transport plane used by dozens of countries across the world, including the UK.
They are capable of carrying up to 90 passengers or more than 20,000kg worth of equipment.
