On Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. the House Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing to discuss social media filtering and policing practices.
The panel was organized to look at how Facebook and Google censor conservative voices.
Goodlatte has invited the social media giants Facebook, Google and Twitter to attend section II of the panel discussion.
The panel III discussion includes”
** Diamond and Silk, Social Media Personalities
** Ms. Corynne McSherry, Legal Director, Electronic Frontier Foundation
** Mr. David Chavern, Chief Executive Officer, News Media Alliance
Diamond and Silk have been in the news recently after they went public about Facebook shadow-banning their content.
Goodlatte also invited David Chavern the Chief Executive Officer of News Media Alliance.
David Chavern is on record saying Facebook and Google should take down independent news sources that aren’t considered one of the big guys.
Chavern is also on record praising Facebook for emphasizing “trustworthy” news and cracking down on “fake news.”
Today Conservative Americans get their information and news from alternative media sources and not mainstream liberal news.
