UPDATE: De Blasio Aide Arrested On Illegal Weapons Charge Riding In Car That “Reeked Of Marijuana”

As the politicians in New York continue to push gun control, one of Mayor Bill De Blasio’s staffers, Reagan Stevens, has been arrested on gun-related charges, thanks to the creepy “Shot Spotter” device employed by the NYPD. In a story rife with irony, Stevens works as the “Deputy Director, Youth & Strategic Initiatives, Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice“, according to her LinkedIn page, and was previously the “Deputy Director, Behavioral Health and Criminal Justice Task Force, New York City Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice.”
Now this:
Cops have released more information on the arrest of Reagan Stevens, who ironically works as the “Deputy Director, Youth & Strategic Initiatives, Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice” for NYC’s corrupt mayor Bill De Blasio. When Stevens was pulled over in a 2002 Infiniti SUV the officers immediately noticed a “strong odor of marijuana” permeating from the vehicle.
The gun found by police was in a green velvet bag in the vehicle’s glove department had the serial number scratched off and was fully loaded with two rounds of ammunition. There was a freshly spent round of cartridges found on the floor of the vehicle.

“Cops also found a paintball gun and carbon dioxide cartridges from the rear cargo area of the vehicle and a gravity knife in 25-year-old driver Caesar Forbes’ waistband.
Another man, Montel Hughes, 24, who was sitting in the passenger seat, was charged with marijuana possession after cops allegedly found five Ziploc bags of pot in his coat pocket, the complaint said. A gravity knife was also recovered from the pocket of his pants.
Stevens, Hughes and Forbes were each charged with two counts of criminal possession of a weapon. Forbes and Hughes were charged with criminal possession of a weapon related to the gravity knives and Forbes was ticketed for double parking.
Stevens was suspended without pay.
