Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows Calls For Second Special Counsel “It’s Time to Investigate the Investigators”

Last week, GOP Rep. Lee Zeldin sent a letter to AWOL Attorney General Jeff Sessions urging him to appoint a Special Counsel to investigate FISA abuses and how/why Hillary’s probe ended and Trump’s Russia probe began.
Zeldin’s letter came after Sessions told reporters he would have IG Horowitz investigate Obama’s FISA abuses. We need a special counsel; the Inspector General does not have prosecutorial power.
At the time of this publication, thirteen GOP Reps. have signed Zeldin’s letter.
Freedom Caucus Chairman Mark Meadows (R-NC) is one of the lawmakers who signed the letter and Monday he said, “it’s time to investigate the investigators.”
On Monday, Rep. Mark Meadows said what we are all thinking–it’s time to investigate the investigators. They are corrupt.
Meadows: Americans deserve to know whether the previous administration weaponized the Department of Justice for political purposes.
The choice is clear: it’s time to investigate the investigators. It’s time for a second special counsel.
