Israel orders rocket strike EVACUATION drills amid fears of WAR with Iran
ISRAEL has ordered thousands of people to take part in rocket attack drills amid fears of war with Iran.

Conflict is looming as Tel Aviv and Tehran clash over the crisis in Syria and the latter’s support of terrorist groups across the Middle East.
Major General Nitzan Alon, from the Israeli Defence Force, today said: “2018 has the potential for escalation [of military conflict].”
Evacuation and defence drills have been ordered throughout the country at schools and colleges.
The exercises are designed to prepare people for the threat of a rocket attack from Iran, or from Gaza.
Iran warned it would “level” Tel Aviv if threatened, and previously said it was prepared to “open the gates of hell” in a war with Israel.
Israeli authorities today practiced search and rescue drills to prepare for the aftermath of an attack along with the evacuations.
The Israeli Defence Force, the Education Ministry, and local authorities all took part in the massive exercise, reports Israeli media.
Drills came just after Iran flew a drone into Israeli airspace, leading to a clash which ended up downing an Israeli F-16.
Major General Alon said: “The year 2018 has the potential for escalation [of military conflict].
“Not necessarily because either side wants to initiate it, but because of a gradual deterioration.
“This has led us to raise the level of preparedness.”
