BREAKING: Walmart shooting – Gunman opens fire in car park
A GUNMAN has opened fire in a supermarket car park, police have confirmed as a woman is rushed to hospital.

The woman, who has not been identified, was shot in a car park at a Walmart in Yorktown, Virginia at around 9.30am local time (2.30pm GMT.)
It is unclear how serious her injuries are.
York County Police said the suspect is now in custody following reports of gunfire outside the Walmart in the car park located by George Washington Memorial Highway in Yorktown.
Police locked down the area as ambulances and fire trucks surrounded the scene.
York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Office shared on social media: “The suspect is in custody. Multiple units are on scene.
“The shooting happened outside in the parking lot.
“The victim was transported to a local hospital.”
The shooting comes just a day after a school shooter unleashed horror in Florida after killing 17 people and leaving 50 more injured.
