A DEVASTATING conflict is just “a tantrum away”, Nobel Peace Prize winners have warmed as the world teeters on the brink of WW3.

Speaking yesterday at the ceremony in Oslo, the International Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons (ICAN), which scooped the prestigious prize, said mankind’s destruction is inching nearer.
ICAN head Beatrice Fihn said: “Will it be the end of nuclear weapons, or will it be the end of us?
“The only rational course of action is to cease living under the conditions where our mutual destruction is only one impulsive tantrum away.
“There is a madman’s gun held permanently to our temple.
“These weapons were supposed to keep us free, but they deny us our freedoms.”
The warning is clearly in reference to the ongoing war of words between North Korea’s despot leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump.
The duo has repeatedly threatened to obliterate each other with nuclear weapons.
As a result, war fears have reached an all-time high in the Korean Peninsula with the US staging huge military drills – something the regime warned leaves war unavoidable.
Pyongyang’s latest weapons test – the firing of the Hwasong-15 on November 28 – has put him one step closer to total war with the US.
And should Kim make the next big leap forward, he would cross Trump’s “red line” and spark a war with the US, it has been warned.
