Nigel Farage was outraged at the news of today’s Brexit deal between the PM and the EU. He told BBC News the situation was “extraordinary”.

He said: “Everything that’s been agreed today, everything, is against what 17.4 million people said on June 23rd 2016.

“The British Prime Minister had to fly through the middle of the night to go meet three unelected people who condescendingly are now saying ’Jolly well done, May. You’ve met every single one of our demands. Thank you very much, we can now move on’.

“We have wasted months and months and in the end we’ve agreed to all the things the European Commission insisted upon in the first place.

“We should never ever ever have been making a serious of concessions just in some vague hope what we might get a trade deal at the end of it.”

When asked about the DUP leader decision to stop negotiations on Monday he replied: “Thank goodness, at least that are some people in British politics with principles.

“That isn’t much of that in the Conservative party.”
