Pyongyang is believed to have ramped up security along its frontier during and following the visit by US President Donald Trump.

Reports say Kim’s G-men from the Ministry of People’s Security have been searching houses and carrying out a census.

This is alleged due to fears of “special forces” crossing the border during Trump’s visit to the South.

North Korea has often claimed the US and its allies have been plotting Kim’s assassination.

And it appears they are taking the threat very seriously.

Soldiers guarding the borders have been mobilising on “emergency duties”, reports Daily NK.

Commanders have ordered their forces to carry out “round-the-clock” surveillance to protect the border from any breaches by “potential invaders”.

The revelation comes as it emerged today a North Korean soldier was shot while fleeing over the border into the South.
