SOUTH Korea has revealed game changing plans to develop a new missile capable of taking out Kim Jong-un and his nuclear arsenal.

The South Korea army is aiming to build “powerful” ballistic missiles capable of assassinating North Korea’s leader with a single devastating strike.
Donald Trump has allowed the army to develop the Hyunmoo IV surface-to-surface missile, dubbed “Frankenmissile” by South Korean Media.
In principle, the US President has signed off a deal that would allow South Korea to double the firepower of its ballistic missiles.
Under the deal, South Korea can develop ballistic missiles with a range of up to 800km and 500kg of warheads.
The missile is set to be used in conjunction with two other variations of ballistic missiles to inflict an “unbearable cost” to North Korea, an army report said.
“We would use those three types of missiles as the first salvo of the missile strike and concentrate them during the initial phase of war to destroy North Korea’s long-range artillery units and missiles located in ballistic missile operating area,” according to the report.
A tactical surface-to-surface missile system, known as “artillery killer”, will be the first weapon to be deployed, the report added.
The weapon will be used to target “the enemy’s tunnels with the 170-mm self-propelled howitzers and 240-mm multiple-rocket launch systems”.
