Kim Jong-un has repeatedly tested Washington’s patience by continuing work on nuclear and ballistic missiles.

Tensions appear to be on a knife-edge, with US President Donald Trump suggesting he is considering taking military action in the peninsula.

And now it has emerged that the threats from the White House are being taken very seriously as the rogue state has carried out several war drills.

Highly-trained special forces in the hermit kingdom have been carrying out paragliding infiltration exercises targeting the South Korean capital of Seoul.

Chillingly, it is the first time troops have deliberately picked out Allied command posts as specific targets.

And it comes after it emerged that Kim’s soldiers have built a model of the South Korean presidential office Cheong Wa Dae.

The moves suggest Pyongyang is hoping to sharpen the Army’s ability to sneak into the South and heightens fears of North Korean agents operating behind enemy lines.

And military sources fear South Korea would hardly detect an airborne assault by the North’s paragliding soldiers.
