Delanie Walker To Upset Titans Fans: ‘Don’t Come To The Game’…(Don’t Go To ANY Game!!)

I’m not a fan of the sports, but I know a lot of people are. They like the base-ball and the basket-ball and the foot-ball and whatnot. It all seems like a lot of foofaraw to me, but it’s not hurting anybody. Well, except for the players who suffer horrific, debilitating injuries for the pleasure of the crowd. But for everyone else, it’s just a harmless diversion. That’s why I have no problem following the advice of Delanie Walker of the Titans of Tennessee.

Walker has some advice for fans who are upset by the team’s refusal to take the field for the National Anthem last Sunday. Jason Wolf, The Tennessean:

Don’t come to the game.

That’s the message a couple of the Titans’ star players have for any outraged fans threatening to turn their back on the team…

“First off, I’m going to say this: We’re not disrespecting the military, the men and women that serve in the Army. That’s not what it’s all about,” Titans tight end Delanie Walker said…

“And the fans that don’t want to come to the game? I mean, OK. Bye. I mean, if you feel that’s something, we’re disrespecting you, don’t come to the game. You don’t have to. No one’s telling you to come to the game. It’s your freedom of choice to do that.”

He’s absolutely right. It’s your money, and if you’d rather not give any of it to your local NFL team, nobody can force you to. You can spend your money and time on more worthwhile pursuits, such as… well, pretty much anything besides going to a football game.

You’re right. It’s about the right to protest, non-verbally and without violence against something you don’t believe in. Take a knee. OK, we got it. No problem. And for the record I as a sports fan am sick and tired of the “athletes”, 36% who have felonies, acting like brats and overpaid jerks taking the love for a “game” and turning into a personal cross for all to bare. Nope, ain’t doin it. Play the game or GO HOME! Stop begging and stealing from the taxpayers and fans to foot the bill for your lavish and obscene lifestyles. My non-verbal and non-violent protest is to turn the sports on tv off, don’t spend another dime on pro-sports, and maybe even college sports if the corruption there doesn’t end too. NO MO MONEY!
