Kim Jong-un’s brutal regime has begun moving launchpads into position which could be used to fire an intercontinental ballistic missile, adding to fears of World War 3.

And the Japanese military has claimed the launchpads are large enough to carry ICBM class Hwasong-14 ballistic missiles.

The long-range weapons have a range of 6,200 miles, making them easily capable of hitting the USA.

And the UK, which is just 5,400 miles away, is also in range.

Japanese website Nikkei reported the missile launchpad was being moved into position yesterday and the weapon was loaded with fuel and ready to go.

A Hwasong-14 ICBM tested earlier this year by the hermit state was also found to be capable of reaching the continental US if fired at the right trajectory.

Kim Jong-un apparently laughed as the weapon was fired and declared it a “special gift for American b******s” and a “handsome good-looking boy”.

Experts claimed the weapon was capable of reaching anywhere in the world and described the test as far more successful than expected.

The flight details suggested it flew more than 4,970 miles.
