HURRICANE IRMA will completely “engulf” Florida after the deadly storm makes landfall on the US this weekend, according to the latest NOAA National Hurricane Center path updates.

Hurricane Irma, the strongest recorded Atlantic Ocean hurricane ever, is currently battering Cuba after leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.
The storm, which has left 22 dead across its path of destruction, was downgraded to a Category 4 but has once again picked up in the strength to become a Category 5, according to the latest Hurricane Irma forecasts.
NOAA National Hurricane Centre now expect the deadly weather to move toward Florida as it batters the entire state with hurricane-force winds.
A CNN forecaster warned Florida to prepare for the worst as the latest models show Hurricane Irma completely engulfing the entire state of Florida.
Attempting to place the possible areas the eye of the storm will hit, CNN said: “It does look like the computer models have said if we draw a line right down the centre of Florida, those computer models were trending more to the west as opposed to the east.
“It’s a minor shift because the entire state is going to be engulfed!”
CNN images of the American Hurricane Irma model shows Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Key west and Key Largo all hit by hurricane-force winds.
