Russian extremists are training neo Nazi terrorists from Europe to use machine guns at a paramilitary course where fanatics prepare for ‘the collapse of civilization’, it has been claimed.

Foreigners have been flocking to take part in gruelling camps in St Petersburg set up by an ultranationalist Russian group that claims to train civilians for an impending ‘global chaos’.

Many get in touch after finding out about the so-called ‘Partisan’ training camp online, it has been claimed.

Among those to have attended were Viktor Melin and Anton Thulin, Swedish men with ties to the neo-Nazi movement who were sentenced earlier this year for trying to blow up a home for asylum seekers in Gothenburg.

According to the Daily Beast, they joined the Partisan course set up by the Russian Imperial Movement where they were trained to use Kalashnikov rifles, Makarov pistols and live ammunition.

The prosecutor in the case, Mats Ljungqvist, told the website, that attending the camp in St. Petersburg was ‘a key step in Melin and Thulin’s radicalisation.’

‘We also believe it may be the place where they learned to manufacture the bombs that they used in Gothenburg.’

The Daily Beast spoke to Denis Gariev, an ex soldier who runs Partisan, who said ‘a lot’ of people come from overseas to take part in the course having read up on it online.

The former history student reportedly said: ‘We are open to all.’

Last month Melin and Thulin were among three men with ties to the Swedish neo-Nazi movement were sentenced to up to eight and a half years in prison for bomb attacks in western Sweden over the past year.
