‘Ireland must LEAVE EU!’ Demands for IREXIT as border row escalates
IRELAND should “wise up” and join Britain in leaving the European Union, a DUP politician has declared.

The Republic is preparing for severe disruption to their economy as a result of the UK, one of its biggest trading partners, leaving the bloc.
And with concerns rising over the future of the Irish border, one DUP politician has encouraged the state to quit the union too.
Ian Paisley Junior tweeted Dublin’s hardening stance on Brexit, specifically regarding the border, could result in an Irish EU exit.
This ‘Irexit’ – or ‘Eireamach’, which roughly translates as ‘Ireland out’ in Gaelic – is an unpopular idea on the island, where the European Union enjoys broad support on both sides of the border.
But Mr Paisley Jr, the son of the fiery founder of the DUP who argued against the peace-bringing Good Friday Agreement, believes it could happen.
In the wake of the revelation Dublin was calling for a ‘sea border’ for Ireland, moving one step towards a united island, he tweeted: “1 of 2 things will now happen 1. A very hard border 2. Ireland will wise up and leave the EU.”
Whether either of these scenarios occur remains to be seen but both currently seem unlikely.
