Crazed leader Kim Jong-un is believed to be priming another ICBM test fire to coincide with the 64th anniversary of the end of the Korean War on Thursday.

Vladimir Putin’s nuke negotiator visited North Korea to discuss the growing tensions in the Peninsula.

Russia has repeatedly called for calm in the conflict – but has accused the US of provoking Pyongyang with military drills in South Korea.

Yesterday, US generals warned a conflict with North Korea would be “horrific” with a death toll worse than World War 2.

Tensions have reached an all-time high in the Korean Peninsula following Kim unveiling his first ever ICBM on July 4.

Oleg Burmistrov, the deputy nuclear negotiator from the Kremlin, visited the diplomats in North Korea.

Kim’s mouthpiece media reported the meeting and said the state “made it clear that we will not budge an inch”.

Russia placed troops on alert earlier this year across its smaller border with North Korea.

“We told him that if Washington does not give up its hostile policy toward the North and end its nuclear threats, we will not put nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles up for negotiation,” the Korean Central News Agency said.

“We also made it clear that we will not budge an inch from our firm will to strengthen our nuclear force.”

North Korea appears to be readying for a fresh missile test on July 27 – the anniversary of end of the 1950 to 1953 Korean War.
