TERROR has struck Egypt after six female foreign tourists were stabbed in the resort of Hurghada.

Two Ukrainian tourists were killed in the attack, as it emerges the knifeman appeared to to have swam from a nearby public beach to access the holiday resort.
The interior minister confirmed the attack on a beach in the Red Sea resort town of Hurghada.
The assailant has been arrested and is being questioned to determine his motives, according to a statement from the ministry.
Hurghada is one of Egypt’s tourist hubs and stretches for 25 miles (40km) along the country’s Red Sea coast. As well as being renowned for scuba diving, it also has a host of resorts, restaurants, bars and nightclubs.
The attack came just hours after five policemen were gunned down in the city of Giza when suspected Islamic militants opened fire on their vehicle in the early hours of the morning.
