The NRA appears to have threatened to hit back at Obama and his ‘resistance’ in a recruitment ad.

The advertisement for the National Rifle Association started going viral on social media last week, with critics speaking out strongly against the controversial ad.

NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch aggressively narrates the ad, which begins by accusing the left of assassinating ‘real news’ and accusing Obama of endorsing the left’s ‘resistance’, though the former president is never named.

Between shots of Loesch speaking the gritted teeth, the video cuts between peaceful shots from across America and images and video of protests and violence.

Loesch adds that the only way to ‘save our country’ is with the ‘clenched fist of truth’.

Though some people have shown their support for the video on social media, the politically charged ad has sparked outrage among others, with some even going as far to say it is a call for another Civil War.
