‘We don’t need you anymore’ Poles snub Britain’s Brexit in favour of China and Middle East
BUOYED by an economic growth forecast, Polish workers have started to ditch the “sinking ship” of Britain, and attract businesses from China and the Middle East.

In a shocking snub to Britain, Polish businessmen have mocked the “slow-moving car crash” of Brexit.
Britain has welcomed millions of Polish migrant workers in the past two decades, who came to the country at the height of free movement in the European Union.
However, the country in central Europe is gradually becoming a driving force of the continental economy, with an expected four per cent rise in GDP this year.
Economic forecasts are up across the European continent, after a restored political confidence following Emmanuel Macron’s victory in France.
But, it is not just the UK that Poland could reject, as investors from China and the Middle East look to replace even their European Union partners.
Poland has threatened to even ditch the European bloc in favour of these outside investors.
Leszek Chorzewski, Modlin Airport Director, told Al Jazeera: “We are looking for opportunities across the world.
“We have businessmen coming from Arabian countries, from China.
“If we do not find a solution in Europe, if Brexit destroys our business, we will find it elsewhere, no problem.”
