A pickup truck driving with a ‘Make America Great Again’ flag and an American flag on an Indiana highway came under gunfire on Tuesday, according to Indiana police.

The incident took place on the eastbound Interstate 465 at around 4pm on Tuesday, according to WISH-TV.

A blue 2001 Dodge pickup truck was driving along the highway when police say it was hit by a bullet.

Authorities believe the shot was fired from a white Chevrolet Malibu with Louisiana license plates.

There were no injuries.

‘Make America Great Again’ was the campaign slogan introduced by President Donald Trump during his successful run for the White House.

The driver of the Malibu has been described as a black man in his early-to-mid 20s.

He was driving alongside a passenger described as a light-skinned black man with a ‘sleeve’ tattoo on his right arm.

Indiana police say it’s possible shots were fired by both the driver and the passenger.

Authorities are examining whether this was a case of road rage.

‘At this point it seems to be an isolated incident,’ Indiana State Police Sgt. John Perrine told the Indianapolis Star.
