TOP Tory MPs reeling from the lacklustre General Election are scheming to oust “lame duck” Prime Minister Theresa May within six months, it has been reported.

Mrs May’s days in office are numbered after the Tories suffered humiliating losses in seats across the country to an ascendant Labour.
The underfire PM faced a groundswell of calls to resign as the Tories failed to win an overall majority in the Commons – despite commanding a huge lead in the polls.
Now enraged Tory MPs are reportedly plotting to dislodge wounded Mrs May from No10 in a ruthless bid to revamp the party.
Tory chiefs will hold back from axing Mrs May until Brexit negotiations are underway, The Sun reports.
This is due to fears a fresh leadership confest could plunge the party into disarray and pave the way for a buoyed Jeremy Corbyn to take power.
But once talks with Brussels have kicked off, Mrs May reportedly faces the chop before Christmas after her snap election gamble painfully backfired.
MPs are already said to be sharpening their knives for Mrs Mrs with one describing her as “f****d, and deservedly” for her shocking campaign.
