ISIS have since claimed responsibility for the callous attack on innocent Iraqis, which is believed to have been caused by a remotely detonated car bomb.
The blast rocked the city at midnight – striking as Muslims across the city celebrated Ramadan by heading out to restaurants to break their fasts.
The al-Faqma ice cream shop is popular with families and features a large outdoor seating area which bore the brunt of the explosion.
Bloodied victims lay wounded on the ground following the terror strike, while a traumatised young girl could be seen wandering the streets in a daze.
Another video showed a man standing over one of the bodies, shouting “he’s getting married in two weeks”.
ISIS jihadis are desperately trying to hold control over Iraq as an international coalition use their military might to blow the terror tyrants into extinction.
