BREAKING: 5.3 magnitude earthquake strikes tourist hotspot Manila, Philippines
A ‘STRONG’ earthquake measuring 5.3 magnitude has struck the tourist hotspot of Manila, Philippines.

The 5.3 magnitude earthquake struck to the north-west of the Philippines capital of Manila at around 10.27pm local time (2.27pm BST).
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said to expect aftershocks but major damage was unlikely.
They said the quake occurred in Zambales northwest of Manila, on the main island of Luzon. The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake had a depth of 93 km.
The Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre estimate 20 million people live in the area effected by the earthquake.
Residents of the capital city took to Twitter to express their shock at the “strong” quake.
One said: “I just felt an earthquake a few minutes ago ;~; scared me.”
Another said: “Earthquake just a few minutes ago & BOY THAT WAS STRONG.”
