Some will remember when Best Buy was busted for their Geek Squad taking customer info off provate computer and giving it to the government, last year.

One must admit, that Best Buy has very unique ways of separating customers from their money. Restocking fees for defective merchandise and now they are playing games with warranties.

I recently returned a defective product that was under warranty. I was charged $10 to “honor” the warranty with no extension. I can afford the $10, but it is a case of when a warranty is not warranty. And if you multiply 10,000 customers times $10, that adds up to a tidy profit.

I posted this story on Youtube. You may wish to look at all the wonderful customer experiences that people left in the comments.

This is so typical of corporations today where we drag off paying customer from airplanes while breaking their noses.

By the way, I have new name. The sales clerk, who looked he was from the far side of homeless, kept calling me “dude” and “bud”. Here is the complete story.
