Man brandishing meat cleaver and ‘threatening to kill Jews’ arrested in London
ARMED cops have been scrambled after reports of a man brandishing a meat cleaver and a large knife on the streets of London.

Cops were scrambled to the Stamford Hill area of London after reports of a man with a meat cleaver hurling vile abuse at Jewish people in the area.
The man was reported to have been holding a meat cleaver and a large knife.
The man was seen brandishing the large knives shouting: “You Jews run away from here before I kill you,” according to social media reports.
He also stormed into a kosher shop in Upper Clapton Road shouting: “Where is the boss, I will kill him!”
Pictures showed a horde of cop cars on the scene and police closing down several streets in response to the threat.
Police raced to the scene and detained a 61-year-old man who has been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
He was taken to a north London police station where he remains in custody.
No one is thought to have been injured.
