PARIS terror fears loom on election as the Louvre was evacuated as France goes to the polls to decide the next president.

The Emmanuel Macron campaign was due to use the courtyard outside the museum to give a victory speech this evening.
But French police evacuated the area as terror fears loomed large on election day.
Cops said they found a “suspicious object” and have now given the all clear.
France has been on high alert ever after a wave of terror attacks linked to jihadi group ISIS swept the nation.
Journalists and photographers were told the leave the area and police sniffer dogs were deployed.
Bomb disposal units arrived on the scene and found the item was not a threat.
