Brexit REVENGE: Angry Europeans to use EUROVISION to punish UK for leaving

BRITONS fear a Brexit backlash from voters on the continent as Europeans are predicted to exact their revenge on the UK through EUROVISION.

The annual singing contest, due to take place in the second week of May, sees a host of nations including Azerbaijan and Israel battle it out to take home the coveted crown.

This year the UK is being represented by Lucie Jones, a 25-year-old from Cardiff who lost out to Jedward in the X Factor.

Despite the UK not winning since 1997, when Katrine & The Waves won viewers’ votes with Love Shine a Light, a recent study has revealed Britons think the continent will exact their revenge on the UK by shunning our entry.

Ladbrokes, who commissioned the study, found a staggering 54 per cent of people thought Britain should pull out of the contest.
