The nuclear threat from North Korea has dominated discussions between Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and U.S. Vice President Mike Pence during his visit to Sydney.

Mr Turnbull warned the eyes of the world are on Beijing, calling for China to rein in North Korea during a press conference with U.S. Vice President on Saturday.

The Prime Minister told reporters in Sydney the ‘reckless and dangerous regime puts the peace and stability of our region at risk’.

Mr Turnbull said China has a leverage to influence North Korea.

‘The eyes of the world are on Beijing,’ Mr Turnbull said.
