North Korea is “primed and ready” for its biggest ever missile test today as tensions continue to escalate in the region.

US President Donald Trump is believed to be considering his country’s response to the imminent weapon test.

North Korea showcased its massive missile arsenal yesterday during a military parade, revealing an intercontinental ballistic missile that could hit the US mainland.

Sources claim that while a US pre-emptive strike is not planned, the US President will retaliate if a missile test goes ahead as expected.

China’s Foreign Minister warned that war could break out between America and North Korea “at any moment”.

A report on Sky News revealed that North Korean nuclear test sites are “primed and ready to go” today.

Asian correspondent Katie Stallard said the test, which will be the country’s biggest ever, is a matter of when, not if.

She added that satellite images suggest a nuclear test is expected to go ahead at any moment.

Analysts from monitoring group 38 North confirmed that repeated activity has been seen at the country’s nuclear missile test sites in recent days.
