US ARMY tanks have been seen on the North Korean border as the prospect of an all-out war becomes a terrifying possibility.

The armoured vehicles were seen alongside South Korean forces in the city of Paju – just miles from North Korea’s border.

It comes as the possibility of a massive conflict in the region seems almost inevitable.

Both North Korea and the United States have made it clear that they are both gearing up for nuclear war.

Just yesterday, America’s nuclear threat warning system DEFCON was ramped up to level four.

It came as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un was expected to launch a nuclear bomb test to celebrate the hermit kingdom’s “Day of the Sun” yesterday.

But rather than conducting a test, there was instead a parade where the secretive state threateningly showed off its newest massive ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile).

South Korean and American forces yesterday simulated a response to an attack.

Military forces from China have also been seen apparently readying for a war in the region.

Videos posted on social media show lines of armoured vehicles heading for the border between the two countries.

It came after the Chinese government sent nearly 200,000 troops earlier this week in response to fears World War 3 could be imminent.
