Some time after the attacks, President Bush was asked about the events of that day by a school kid, and he gave an answer that was a complete and total lie. He told the student that he had “seen the first plane fly into the building” on a TV set in Florida. Only problem was, the hit on the north tower was NOT televised as it was a surprise attack. No one watched it on any television anywhere in the world. So why would he say that?

BUSH TOLD THE STUDENT THAT HE HAD “SEEN THE FIRST PLANE FLY INTO THE BUILDING” ON A TV SET IN FLORIDA. ONLY PROBLEM WAS, THE HIT ON THE NORTH TOWER WAS NOT TELEVISED AS IT WAS A SURPRISE ATTACK.

When 9/11 was happening in real time, Americans across the country were so shocked by the day’s events that very little attention was given to how our president was acting on that day. But now 15 years later, when we go back and revisit George Bush on that day, his behavior is not only in violation of all set national security precedents, it is bizarre in the extreme. He sat there, pusillanimously helpless, awaiting orders from his handlers. Orders that never came. Watch for yourself and see.
