Three masked teenagers who broke into a home in broad daylight were shot dead by a 23-year-old man living inside.
The intruders, who were dressed in black and wore masks and gloves, entered the residence in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, before the homeowner’s son confronted them with a rifle and opened fire.
The suspected burglars, said to be aged 16, 17 and 18, all died at the scene. One was armed with a knife while another carried brass knuckles.
An investigation is ongoing. Police say the 23-year-old appears to have acted in self-defense.
