President Donald Trump is putting his weight behind a House leadership health care plan, warning lawmakers they will face an electoral ‘bloodbath’ if they don’t carry through on their promises.

In a demonstration of his intention to be hands-on, the president met with members of the House Republican whip operation Tuesday – those lawmakers charged with keeping score and twisting arms to get a bill through the House.

Republicans took power in the Tea-Party backed revolution sparked by Obamacare in 2010.

The president told Republicans at the White House that they could face their own ‘bloodbath’ in the 2018 off-year elections if they fail to act, CNN reported.

“He said he hopes members understand that,’ the network reported.
