ATOMIC WAR? China and Russia PAIR UP to oppose US missile defence system in nuclear row
CHINA has agreed to pair up with Russia to stand against Donald Trump and his nuclear plans in South Korea.

Both nations have agreed to intensify their opposition to the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system (THAAD) which the US plans to deploy to the region.
Ministers from Russia and China met to solidify their allegiance against Trump’s project.
The Chinese Foreign Ministry said: “Both sides said they will continue to strengthen their coordinated opposition to THAAD.”
China’s assistant foreign minister, Kong Xuanyou, and Russian deputy foreign minister Igor Morgulov have talked in Beijing.
A Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement, said: “Both parties emphasised that collective political and diplomatic efforts should be stepped up to ease tensions and initiate the process of military and political detente across the board in Northeast Asia, in order to create conditions conducive to resolving the nuclear issue, as well as other issue, on the Korean Peninsula.”
THAAD is an advanced system designed to intercept short, medium, and intermediate-range ballistic missiles.
According to some, it will have the ability to intercept North Korea’s intermediate-range ballistic missiles.
Washington insists the defensive strategy is necessary against Pyongyang where Kim Jong-Un is repeatedly testing missiles.
In China, it is feared THAAD could cause problems for its ballistic missile capabilities.
