Many great immigrants have come to America and contributed mightily to our way of life and I am sure they willl continue to do so. However, the vast majority of immigrants, in previous stages of our history, came into our country the right way, the legal way and they did not come with an expectation and attitude of entitlement.
Obama and Bush created an atmosphere of entitlement among many immigrants. Although most have come here and expected nothing but to work hard, the establishment has misused the resources of the people and created a sense of entitlement. Further, the previous two administrations displayed a sense of depraved indifference toward the safety of the citizens of this country. Obama’s catch and release program was criminal facilitation at best. When an illegal immigrant drives drunk, commits rape, robbery and even murder, they deserve the consequences that comes with our system of justice. Instead, Obama ordered thousands of felons released to only commit the same acts again and victimize more American citizens. Apparently, these days are over.
Trump Signs Executive Orders Which Brings Sanity to Immigration
Trump signed an executive order enacting his campaign promise to build “the wall” along the American border with Mexico. Trump is consistently standing by previous comments that the government of Mexico would ultimately pay for the wall, even if the method of payment was not yet clear. Trump promised that Mexican payment for the wall would commense very soon.
President Trump has long held that “sanctuary cities” are breaking the law, and they are. In addition to the notion of building a wall, Trump signed a series executive actions on January 25th in which he ordered the construction of the wall, he also singled out sanctuary cities. As promised in his campaign, he is threatening to cut off all federal money to “sanctuary cities”. Critics are claiming this amounts to economic blackmail. They are correct and it is the same as what Obama did with Common Core, and nobody on the left cried foul.
