Donald Trump will visit the CIA’s headquarters in Langley, Virginia on Saturday, his first full day as America’s president.
White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer confirmed the plan on Twitter.

‘@POTUS to visit @CIA this afternoon. Event is over capacity at 300+ Excited to thank the men and women of the intelligence community,’ he wrote.

The spy agency’s home base has been nicknamed ‘the Pickle Factory’ since at least the mid 1960s, when intelligence briefings sent to U.S. presidents were known affectionately as ‘pickles.’

Trump will find reconciliation with the nation’s intelligence services among his thorniest early challenges, following an election year in which the CIA, NSA and FBI jockeyed over conclusions that Russia’s government aided him through computer hacking.
