The North Korean leader issued a terrifying threat of a “stern punishment to those quislings” in South Korean for holding military exercises with the USA.
In a Pyongyang-based propaganda newspaper, the hermit state leader said: “This is nothing but a desperate bid to improve the atmosphere getting dismal in the army as the days go by due to the delay in the decision on the hideous scandal by stirring up bad blood towards the fellow countrymen in the north and to do harm to it by force of arms at any cost.
“This lays bare the true colours of the puppet group as traitors to the nation, hell-bent on the war moves against the north till the last day of the year.”
He said South Korea were preparing to invade the north, accusing them of being “the worst confrontation maniacs”.
