Despite numerous campaigns, classes and continual acceptance of refugees from Chancellor Angela Merkel’s administration, the horror stories of 2016 have not stopped.
On the first day of 2017 a young woman was sexually assaulted as she looked for her boyfriend after a night out in Neumarkt in Bavaria.
The woman told police she was looking for her partner, who was staying at a youth hostel for refugees in Kastengasse, when she was attacked.
The victim had drunk so much alcohol she cannot fully remember the details of the assault, but told officers she was physically and sexually abused.
Two young Afghans were arrested the following day and were brought before the prosecutor at the district court in Nuremberg, Bavaria.
The men, believed to be aged about 18 remain in custody.
