Speaking on French television channel LCI, the the Front National politician said: “This Berlin attack is reminiscent of Nice and nothing has been done since.
“We need to make a coalition alliance against all Islamist ramifications.”
Marion Le Pen, who is the niece of the Front National leader Marine Le Pen, blasted European leaders for treating the Islam issue with such laxity.
She drew similarities between the Berlin lorry attack which killed 12 people on Monday night and the Bastille Day attack in France in July when 86 people were killed.
Ms Le Pen said: “It is a serious issue that our Government is not responding to.
“I see a powerless government who are scared by stigmatisation.”
