Donald Tusk: Forget Germany – Poland has power to END the European Union once and for all
POLAND has as much power as Germany to end the European Union, the European Council President Donald Tusk has claimed.

Mr Tusk said that his native Poland had just as much power as Germany to finish off the EU.
In an interview with the editor of the Polish news outlet, Newsweek Polska, Mr Tusk claimed Jarosław Kaczyński, the former prime minister of Poland, was taking “satisfaction in talking about the EU in the worst possible terms”.
The two politicians are known for being political enemies and Mr Tusk said the Polish Government could not be taken seriously for being “sulky” about his position in the EU.
Mr Tusk said that the governing right-wing Law and Justice party sends negative signals to Brussels, which will undermine Poland’s credibility in Europe.
He said that the future of the bloc will depend on “the good will and unambiguous solidarity” of its member countries and does not lie on the shoulders of one single leader.
