Police made seven arrests after counter-demonstrations took place when 3,000 far-right protesters and a 200-strong neo-Nazi marched in Helsinki.
The far-right were marching to commemorate the 99th anniversary of Finland’s independence.
The demonstrators marched through the city to the Hietaniemi cemetery where they lit candles to remember the soldiers who died fighting for Finland.
A brawl broke out when the neo-Nazi march and anti-Nazi demonstration met, but police officers gathered at the park in full riot control gear to form a barrier between the two groups to try and prevent clashes.
The police made seven arrests from the protests.
