But ‘the Department of Justice, the different committees, the FBI perhaps, can take a different look’

A senior Donald Trump aide opened the door on Friday to the possibility that law enforcement officials in the incoming administration could take a fresh look at Hillary Clinton’s classified email scandal.

Trump told DailyMail.com during the presidential primary campaign that he was open to the idea of empowering a special prosecutor, but that he would defer the decision to his attorney general if he won the election.

Kellyanne Conway, the president-elect’s campaign manager, suggested on ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ that all options are still on the table.

‘There will be officials who are in charge of such things in the Trump administration who may look at that again,’ Conway said.
