WikiLeaks released on Thursday 90 gigabyte of information on German parliamentary inquiry into surveillance of the country’s foreign intelligence agency Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND) and its cooperation with the US National Security Agency (NSA).
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The inquiry was set up after revelations of former NSA contractor Edward Snowden exposed the US global surveillance scheme.
”The collection contains early agreements between the BND and the NSA and internal processes at the BND, but also more recent details on the close collaboration between the two agencies … A number of the documents show how intelligence agencies find ways to work around their own government,” WikiLeaks said in a statement.
