Google Maps hackers rename Trump Tower ‘Dump Tower’
Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue was renamed Dump Tower briefly on Google Maps
The name was fixed but still shows up occasionally
Trump International Hotel and Tower was renamed Dump International Hotel and Tower
At one point, the tower’s name also appeared in Russian on Google Maps
Google has not responded to whether this was a hack or mistake
Donald Trump has not yet responded to the unflattering renaming

Someone has renamed Donald Trump’s midtown Manhattan building on Google Maps, and the new moniker isn’t likely to go over well with its vocal owner and most high-profile tenant.
Instead of Trump Tower, it’s ‘Dump Tower.’
Users of the mapping service began noticing the new name for the Fifth Avenue building and the hotel on Columbus Circle on Saturday around 2pm and some took to social media to report it.
