‘The Vatican has a wall!’ Ex-army general insists why Trump’s Mexico wall will be built
A FORMER US army general and Donald Trump ally has likened the wall built around the Vatican to the one the President-elect wants to build at the border of Mexico.

The clip, which was aired on BBC One’s Newsnight yesterday, from an election rally, showed Michael Flynn, the ex-director of the Defense Intelligence Service (DIA), hitting out at critics of the idea.
“What’s the matter with building a wall? I just visited the Vatican, the Vatican has one of the highest walls around it, why? Why does the vatican have a wall around it?” he told a reporter.
The comments come after Mr Trump repeatedly told campaign rallies he would build the wall if elected and that Mexico would foot the bill.
“We will build the wall, Mexico will be paying for the wall,” he told elated supporters at one rally.
