Russian nuke power on OUR doorstep: Putin’s fearsome nuclear fleet 10 miles from Dover NOW

ROYAL Navy warships were on full alert this afternoon after a fleet of Vladimir Putin’s nuclear warships sailed threateningly close to Britain’s coast.

An MoD spokesman confirmed to Express.co.uk the attack group was on course to reach the Dover shipping lanes – about 10 miles offshore – at around 10.30am this morning.

Tracking the heavilly-armed Russian flotilla are two of the Royal Navy’s most advanced warships, HMS Duncan – a Type 45 Destroyer – and HMS Richmond, a Type 23 Frigate.

An RAF Rivet Joint spy plane, C130 Hercules and Typhoon jets are also on standby.
