Anyone who entered any part of Chicago’s O’Hare Airport on or about 4:30 PM Central Time on Tuesday, October 4 should closely monitor themselves for any signs of fever or flu-like symptoms after an 8 year old boy infected with EBOLA died after flying-in from West Africa.

The 8-year-old refugee from the west Africa country of Congo died at a Chicago’s O’Hare airport from Ebola Virus with the severe symptoms of vomiting and explosive diarrhea which made him highly contagious. The young boy died on Tuesday, October 4 shortly after his flight from West Africa had landed at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. The information was downplayed because government officials do not want this incident to reflect on US Immigration policy!

David Dieme, an 8-year-old refugee from the Congo landed Tuesday at approximately 4:30 PM.

Dieme was traveling with his father and several other children, who arrived to Chicago on a flight originating from West Africa via Dubai.

After clearing paperwork, the west African refugee family was escorted to their next flight, when a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer noticed Dieme unresponsive.

Emergency Medical Services was immediately notified and arrived at the terminal. Dieme was having Ebola symptoms prior to the flight, but did not report any Ebola Virus symptoms.

The boy was examined at the airport by CDC officials, in an isolated room. Dieme’s temperature was taken, but he had no fever. He experienced diarrhea and vomiting. It was determined he should be taken to the hospital.

Many Ebola patients never get a fever studies show that only 87.1% of those infected with Ebola Virus get fevers over 12.9% of people infected with Ebola Virus never get a fever. Fever not a surefire sign of Ebola over 10% of people with Ebola don’t get Fevers

The refugee was taken to Presence Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, where he was pronounced dead.

The west African refugee family was passing through Chicago on their way to resettlement in Texas.

The Cook County Medical Examiner is currently gathering additional information at this time. An autopsy was performed Wednesday, with results pending.
